About Us

Welcome to MIG Adarsh Nagar Co-operative Housing Society, a serene oasis nestled in the bustling heart of Worli. Located off Annie Besant Road, our Society enjoys a prime location, flanked by the iconic Century Bazar at one end and the scenic northern tip of Worli Sea Face at the other. Truly, “Old is Gold” best encapsulates the charm and legacy of our vibrant community.

Home to 224 families, our Society comprises 24 ground-plus-three-storey buildings, harmoniously spread across nearly 6 acres of land, with an impressive three-quarters dedicated to open spaces. Our expansive Central Ground, complemented by a delightful children’s garden, is not only a centerpiece of our community but also a source of pride for residents and admiration from visitors.

The ‘MIG Colony’ is more than just a residential complex; it’s a thriving, inter-generational community of nearly 800 residents. Spanning four generations and diverse cultural backgrounds, we come together in a spirit of camaraderie and unity. While each family cherishes the privacy of their home, stepping outside opens the door to a vibrant and supportive neighborhood.

At MIG Adarsh Nagar, we celebrate a legacy of harmony, inclusivity, and shared experiences, making it a place we are proud to call ‘Home’!

Redefining better

living!

Why we do what we do?

MIG Adarsh Nagar is not just a residential complex; it’s a vibrant community that celebrates togetherness and camaraderie. Our lush gardens are a source of delight for children, while our beloved sit-outs, fondly called "kattas," serve as buzzing hubs of interaction for residents of all age groups. From early mornings to late evenings, these spaces come alive with conversations ranging from local happenings to global debates, often enjoyed over a plate of mouthwatering bhel or sev-puri.

Our seniors and super-seniors live here with a sense of security and belonging, knowing that help is always just a call away. Neighbours respond with unparalleled support, whether it's a distress call late at night or a helping hand during the day - Our community spirit is our greatest strength.

While our buildings, constructed by the Housing Board and commissioned in 1965, have exceeded their intended lifespan, they have served us well for nearly 60 years. The infrastructure, though aged, continues to stand strong with periodic repairs undertaken as needed. However, it is now time to look toward the future.

With this vision in mind, we have embarked on an exciting journey of redevelopment. Our goal is to create a modern paradise that embraces new beginnings while preserving the rich heritage and spirit of our beloved Society. We envisage our new larger homes promise to be a blend of contemporary living and the timeless community values that define ‘MIG Adarsh Nagar’!
